Project Summary

Orange Memorial is a community center located in South San Francisco. The San Mateo County Parks Department contracted Rodan Builders to construct this building in order to provide the community with a place for its youth to gather. The buildings’ most impressive design aspect are the exposed trusses supporting the roof, an engineering feature that was both challenging and successful for the aesthetics of the design intent.

The Orange Memorial Recreational Building was featured in the Architectural Annex website for its “simple geometric forms and incorporation of Western Red Cedar as a critical design element.” It was a great honor for Rodan Builders, Inc. to be a part of this very special construction project.
